The granulation process is required for the production of profiles from single screw extruders. If the particles are too large, it is difficult to feed during molding, resulting in a decrease in yield. The shape of the particles is preferably spherical or tablet-shaped. One of the methods for evaluating the quality of granulation is to immerse the particles in an acetone solution at room temperature for 2 hours, and if the swelling ratio is less than 40% to 50%, the granulation plasticization is good. The color of the particles should be consistent.
