The thermal analyzer uses a glass tube filled with an adsorbent to capture the organic compounds of interest, and then introduce them into a gas chromatograph. These organic compounds are separated and determined by gas chromatography.
Two stages of two adsorption tubes are used in the analysis process:
First, the compound is retained in a high-capacity adsorption tube (sampling tube) by large-volume sampling, and then heated and resolved into the next-stage capillary focusing tube (first-stage analysis);
In the second step, the sample enriched in the capillary focusing tube is again heated and analyzed and introduced into a gas chromatography capillary (secondary resolution). Using the capillary enrichment tube secondary enrichment analysis, the analyte enriched in the capillary focusing tube can be introduced into the gas chromatograph with a small carrier gas volume, the injection efficiency is improved, and a sharp compound peak shape can be obtained. The capillary focusing tube technology avoids water interference and enhances the analysis of polar compounds. The thermal resolver can be conveniently used in a variety of sampling methods, such as an air sampler using a dry battery to sample the external environment and then analyze it in the laboratory, or use a mobile thermal analyzer/gas chromatograph platform for on-site sampling analysis.
