Chongqing Chi has successfully deployed MES to realize lean management of manufacturing sites

Production plans for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly periods can be quickly deployed and monitored through MES, with visual dashboards providing real-time insights to frontline managers and operators. The system also allows workers to query tasks, report labor, and access process documents, while electronic signage supports paperless operations, minimizing manual work and improving efficiency. Integration with ERP reduces the workload of warehouse staff and enhances the accuracy of inventory tracking. Quality management has also been improved, with features like patrol inspection and quality alarms enabling timely identification of issues. Additionally, MES helps track performance metrics, boosting employee motivation and supporting cost analysis for management. The General Manager of Chongcheng highlighted that the collaboration with Extech has demonstrated the true value of the MES system. In the workshop, clear data is presented to managers, improving their awareness and control over production rhythms. Inventory, production data, and personnel performance are all visible at a glance, contributing to more efficient decision-making.
