The machinery industry research reflect demand in April remain strong in March the situation. Sub-industry perspective April machine tool industry continues to maintain a relatively strong demand, mining, manufacturing, infrastructure driven by demand for construction machinery and March were flat, stable orders for heavy machinery, from building materials, metallurgy industry, orders weak. April machinery industry index for the completion of 0.17, the machinery industry expectations index in April was 0.06.

April We are particularly concerned about the situation inventory and pricing aspects of business. As the demand for machinery and equipment is still relatively strong in April, the overall inventory is still in a state of decline. Enterprises have reflected the price adjustment pressure driven by the current increase in steel costs.

The dealers who already have construction machinery have raised the price of the product. Construction machinery manufacturers of different products have said that price adjustments have begun to be considered, and will closely monitor the actions of leading companies. On the whole, if the downstream demand can still be maintained in May, the price increase of construction machinery products caused by the rise in raw material prices will be concentrated in the near future.

Most of the respondents of construction machinery responded that April sales were flat compared with March, 44% of companies reported sales fell from the previous month, and 89% of companies responded that current construction machinery sales were within expectations. Overall, sales of construction machinery products remain very strong. The unprecedented high demand since March has caused the inventory of most enterprises to drop significantly, and some products have been cut off. In terms of price, some of the respondents reported that they have begun to consider raising prices and will continue to look at leading companies. From the dealer's link, the current price of some of the leading companies' loaders has started to increase.

The heavy machinery companies interviewed said that orders from metallurgical companies were in a very weak state in April. Especially for hot rolling equipment, there is currently no enterprise with a willingness to purchase. On the one hand, the implementation of policies to limit new projects is very strong; on the other hand, companies are also very worried about the future needs. Demand in the building materials industry is still weak, and demand for resource-related equipment is stable. The respondents also indicated that private enterprises from Guangdong and Zhejiang are more active in demand for cold rolling equipment.
