1. After the new machine has been in operation for 250 hours, replace the fuel filter and the secondary fuel filter. Inspect and adjust the engine valve clearance.

2. Daily maintenance tasks include checking, cleaning, or replacing the air filter; cleaning the internal components of the cooling system; tightening the track plate bolts; adjusting the track tension; inspecting the intake heater; replacing the bucket teeth; adjusting the bucket clearance; checking the windshield washer fluid level; inspecting and adjusting the air conditioning system; cleaning the cab floor; and replacing the breaker filter (optional).

When cleaning the cooling system, ensure the engine is fully cooled before opening the water inlet cover to release pressure. Never perform this task while the engine is running, as the high-speed fan can be dangerous. Always park the machine on a flat surface when cleaning or replacing the coolant. Replace the coolant and corrosion inhibitor according to the specified ratio found in Table 4.

Coolant Type | Cleaning & Replacement Cycle | Anti-Corrosion Replacement Cycle
AF-ACL Antifreeze (Super Antifreeze) | Every 2 years or 4000 hours | Every 1000 hours or when changing coolant
AF-PTL Antifreeze (Long-Acting) | Every 1 year or 2000 hours | —
AF-PT Antifreeze (Winter Type) | Every 6 months (added only in autumn) | —

Table 4: Mixing Ratio of Antifreeze to Water
Ambient Temperature (°C/Capacity L) | -5 | -10 | -15 | -20 | -25 | -30
Antifreeze PC200 | 5.1 | 6.7 | 8.0 | 9.1 | 10.2 | 11.10
PC220 | 5.4 | 7.0 | 8.4 | 9.6 | 10.7 | 11.65
Water PC200 | 17.1 | 15.5 | 14.2 | 13.1 | 12.0 | 11.10

3. Excavator Rental Before starting the engine, check the coolant level (add water if needed), engine oil level (top up if necessary), fuel level (refuel), hydraulic oil level (add if required), air filter blockage, wiring condition, horn functionality, bucket lubrication, and presence of water or sediment in the water separator.

4. Every 100-hour maintenance includes checking the boom cylinder head pin, boom pin, rod end, arm cylinder head pin, connecting pins between boom and stick, arm cylinder end, bucket cylinder head pin, half rod connecting rod, bucket cylinder rod end, arm linkage pin, and checking the oil level in the swing mechanism box (add oil). Drain water and sediment from the fuel tank.

5. Every 250-hour maintenance involves checking the oil level in the final gear box (add gear oil), checking battery electrolyte, replacing engine oil and filter, lubricating the slewing ring (two points), and adjusting the tension of the fan belt and air conditioner compressor belt.

6. Every 500-hour maintenance includes all previous tasks and adds replacing the fuel filter, checking and greasing the rotary pinion, cleaning radiator and oil cooler fins, replacing the hydraulic oil filter element, and replacing the final gear box oil (only once at 500 hours, then every 1000 hours). Clean the air filter inside and outside the air conditioning system and replace the hydraulic oil vent filter.

7. Every 1000-hour maintenance includes all prior tasks and adds replacing the swing mechanism box oil, checking the damper housing oil level, inspecting turbocharger fasteners, checking the turbocharger rotor clearance, adjusting the generator belt tension, replacing the anti-corrosion filter, and changing the final transmission oil.

8. Every 2000-hour maintenance includes all prior tasks, plus cleaning the hydraulic tank filter, inspecting and cleaning the turbocharger, checking the generator and starter motor, inspecting the engine valve clearance (and adjusting if needed), and checking the shock absorber.

9. Maintenance above 4000 hours includes increased inspection of the pump and replacing hydraulic oil every 5000 hours.

10. Long-term storage: If the machine will be stored for an extended period, place the working device on the ground to prevent hydraulic cylinder piston rods from rusting. Wash and dry the entire machine, and store it in a dry indoor space. If outdoor storage is necessary, park the machine on a well-drained concrete surface. Fill the fuel tank, lubricate all parts, replace hydraulic and engine oil, apply a thin layer of grease to exposed metal surfaces of the hydraulic cylinder pistons, and remove the negative battery terminal or take the battery out and store it separately. Add the appropriate antifreeze to the cooling system based on the lowest ambient temperature. Start the engine once a month to lubricate moving parts and charge the battery. Run the air conditioning and cooling system for 5–10 minutes during each start-up.
