"AsiaInfo" Ship Safety Inspection

On the afternoon of May 24, 2014, the Huangshi Maritime Administration Bridge Law Enforcement Brigade conducted a special safety inspection of AsiaInfo’s ships for the purpose of this voyage through the “Yuxin Ship 10258” round of Shanghai.

In order to conscientiously implement the requirements of the “Notice on the Implementation of Remote Control of Water Security at the 2014 Shanghai AsiaInfo Council” and the “Emergency Notice on Relevant Work for Extending the Asian Security Council's Remote Control of Water Security” by the Changjiang Maritime Safety Administration to ensure the 2014 During the fourth summit of the Shanghai Asia Mutual Cooperation and Confidence Measures Conference, the maritime traffic safety was based on the requirements of the Shanghai Asiatrust Society for maritime safety and security work. The Marine Department of Huangshi Port District actively carried out special inspections of ship security during the AsiaInfo Council.

The security personnel strictly follow the requirements of the above “Safety Checklist for Ships Specialized by Shanghai AsiaInfo 2014” to carry out special safety inspections on ships, with emphasis on AIS, VHF, GPS and other navigation aids, power and steering equipment, fire-fighting rescue equipment and other equipment. Detailed inspections were carried out on the installation and use conditions, and on-site verifications were conducted on the crew’s performance capacity, compliance with the requirements of the vessel's name, and the availability and updates of the nautical charts and nautical publications on board. During the inspection process, law enforcement officers provided feedback to the ship’s side regarding the safety hazards that existed on the ship, and asked the crew to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
