European market 226 recycled aluminum alloy prices fell

Recent LME aluminum price adjustments also made spot purchases less likely. The spot price of batch 226 remanufactured aluminum alloy was 1880 to 1930 euros/ton, and German delivery was 1950 to 2000 euros/ton in the previous period. The reason why the spot price is under pressure is that there are more holidays in April and the market is oversupply. European buyers, especially German buyers, allegedly had good orders, and the demand for the die-casting industry supplying the automotive industry in the second quarter was stable. From April to May, the demand in the Spanish market remained flat. The producers insisted on exporting their supplies to other European countries. One Nordic buyer said that they had received offers from Spanish and Italian suppliers. The third quarter supply negotiations are expected to begin in mid-June, with some manufacturers saying that the overall demand so far has been good in the second quarter.
