Causes of aluminum surface cracks:

(1) The aluminum extrusion coefficient is too large, the extrusion temperature is too high (bar, barrel, mold three temperature), and the extrusion speed is too fast;

(2) Unstable extrusion force, high or low variability, or obvious speed difference between multi-speed governors; sudden shift in speed when shifting;

(3) When the aluminum alloy profile is extruded, the head end pressure (punch) is too fast, the tail end is running fast or not decelerated, and a large amount of dead aluminum is infiltrated;

(4) The quality of the rod is poor, the rod is burned, the large crystal grains are loose, and the rod is loose. Pressure balance (V3 aluminum) is too thin;

(5) The flow rate of the extrusion die is unreasonable compared to the serious misadjustment of the design and manufacture.

Aluminum surface crack elimination method:

(1) Extrusion profiles with large profiles can be placed on small machine tables with appropriate extrusion ratios; in addition, the extrusion temperature must be strictly controlled according to the production process, and the appropriate extrusion speed must be used;

(2) The operator has concentrated mentality, stable speed regulation, and the pressure cannot be high or low, and manual operation is required when shifting gears;

(3) The front and rear ends of the aluminum profile printing stop are the dead zone or V3 volume (aluminum rod surface layer) of aluminum, which has many impurities, poor quality, and insufficient viscosity, so the extrusion speed of the head and tail end of the profile should be slowed;

(4) The surfaces of aluminum rods must be clean, oil-free, and the internal organization must be up to the standard, and the pressure should be kept as normal (5% of the rod length);

(5) Extrusion mold designers must design and manufacture qualified molds with uniform flow rates.
