He said in a web video that the greatest innovation to date has been to cool the LEDs. He believes that "this is significant for the LED market." Jack said that he hides the LEDs in a conical reflector, which produces uniform light and can be energy efficient without the use of a diffuser. LED lamps using this technology can maintain "warm white light" for many years, while similar products may have a 30% reduction in brightness within half a year.
